The American Heart Association says making good food and drink choices should be simple. An easy first step to eating healthy is to include fruits and vegetables at every meal and snack, all forms work, fresh, frozen, canned and dried!

You can also look for the Heart-Check mark when you're in the grocery store. The American Heart Association's is designed to help you make informed choices about the foods you buy. When you see the mark, you can be confident that a product aligns with the American Heart Association's recommendations for an overall healthy eating pattern.
