An investigation is underway after police say a 17-year-old male with gunshot wounds was brought to a hospital in Decatur.
Decatur Police say Morgan County Central Dispatch received a call about 7:05 p.m. on Saturday from the Decatur Morgan Hospital after the teen had arrived.
Police say his injuries were not life-threatening.
Officers arrived and met with the victim who advised the shooting occurred during a robbery in the alley in the 1200 block of 6th Avenue SE. Officers and detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division responded to conduct an investigation.
The investigation is ongoing at this time. Police say they believe this to be an isolated incident.
