...Patchy Dense Fog Through 9 AM...

Patchy dense fog has developed mainly in some river valleys early
this morning. Visibility will be reduced to 1/4 mile or less in
some of these locations.

Motorists are urged to use low beams, reduce driving speed, and
allow for plenty of room between you and other cars.

The fog should begin to burn off by around 9 AM.

Man indicted for murder after deadly shooting at Sheffield hotel

A Colbert County grand jury indicted a man for murder over the Feb. 8 shooting of a hotel owner in Sheffield.

The indictment alleges William Jeremy Moore used a handgun to shoot and kill Pravin Patel at the Hillcrest Hotel.

Moore remains in the Colbert County jail.

He is scheduled for an arraignment hearing April 18.
