Lauderdale County Sheriff鈥檚 Office seeks Lexington woman possibly in danger from son

The Lauderdale County Sheriff鈥檚 Office is asking for help finding a Lexington woman who may be in danger.

Mary Ann Moore, 78, was last seen about 8 p.m. Nov. 3 in the area of County Road 462 in Lexington, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

According to the sheriff鈥檚 office, Kristopher Moore was living in a camper behind the residence of his mother, Mary Ann Moore, and has been reported 鈥渁s being violent and mentally unstable.鈥

The office said Kristopher Moore drove Mary Ann Moore to a bank Nov. 3 and had her withdraw a large amount of money. They returned to their home, but were not there when the residence was checked about 7 a.m. Nov. 4, authorities said.鈥淭hey have not been seen by friends or family since. It is unknown at this time what vehicle they may have used. Due to Mr. Moore's recent erratic behavior, it is believed by Law Enforcement that Ms. Moore is in extreme danger,鈥 the sheriff鈥檚 office said.
