Huntsville Utilities say 2,297 people are still without power following Wednesday night's severe storms.
Huntsville Utilities say crews are in the field continuing to work to restore power across Madison County. Officials say there are 13 downed poles as well as downed trees across the area.
There isn't an estimated time that power will be restored but Huntsville Utilities say crews are working as quickly as safely possible.
If you do not have power and haven't already done so, you're asked to report it to 256-53-LIGHT (256-535-4448).
Huntsville Utilities say if you see a downed powerline, do not approach it or attempt to drive over it. Also, do not attempt to remove limbs, trees, or debris from powerlines but to report these situations to the phone number above.
